				Sam Rivers Fuchsia Swing Song (Item #: riverfuchs) Our Price: $39.99 This is a Blue Note Blue Label (’70s era) pressing with pretty good sound. We’d estimate it at about a solid A overall, but since we’ve never heard a better one this might be as good as it ever gets. The sound is clean, clear, and transparent throughout. The bass is well-defined, but I sure wish there were more of it! We almost never see clean copies of this album, so don’t hold your breath for a shootout in the near future. We've put this one through our full cleaning process. The vinyl plays quietly, mostly Mint Minus throughout. more info

The sound is so tubey magical without being too thick or turgid. It’s smooth, sweet, rich, full-bodied, and SUPER dynamic. The vocals are amazing, with lots of breath and body. The sound of the percussion goes beyond any expectations -- just listen to all that room around the drums! The overall sound is super transparent, open, and spacious with tons of life and energy. 				Sergio Mendes Sergio Mendes (Item #: 150_mendesergi_) Our Price: $19.99 This is a Factory Sealed A&M cutout LP. There is a large tear in the shrink on the bottom left corner. There is also a fair amount of cover wear on the same corner. "In 1983, Sergio Mendes returned to the label where he made his most memorable music, A&M. Of course, A&M had changed mightily by then becoming a polyglot rock-oriented outfit instead of the cottage Latin pop industry it had been in the '60s. But so had Sergio — and so, backed by an army of L.A. studio folk, Mendes tried to recapture the old sales magic on the market's own terms.
