TWO EXCELLENT SIDES THAT RATE ABOVE A+! We recently finished another challenging shootout for this Better Records favorite and were thrilled to come up with a copy like this. It's always been tough to find great sound and quiet vinyl for this album, and this time around was a NIGHTMARE. Most copies just don't deliver, and most of the ones that do don't pass our stringent condition check. It wasn't easy, but finding a Hot one like this was worth all the trouble.

Side one has breathy vocals and solid piano, but doesn't have the rich analog sound of the best copies. Side two is nearly the polar opposite -- rich and analog but lacking a bit of clarity and snap. Both sides have been through our extensive cleaning process.

This is a long out of print Minty looking OJC LP. The top end on side one is a bit much but the rest of the frequency spectrum sounds Right On The Money (ROTM). Side two sounds tonally correct from top to bottom. It is one of the ALL TIME GREAT OJC JAZZ RECORDS! With three saxophones and a trombone, this is a fresh combination that really brings out the best in all the players during this Prestige jam session, a format for which they are justly famous.

This is an EXCEPTIONALLY RARE Columbia 360 Label LP with pretty good sound. We've put this one through our extensive cleaning process. The first track on side one doesn’t sound too great. It has that typical ’60s radio EQ but things immediately improve by the second track. The sound on side two is tubey magical, rich and sweet with tons of bass. Usually copies of this record are trashed but fortunately that ain’t the case here. This copy plays pretty quiet, Mint Minus or better.
