Good luck finding such a clean, quiet copy out there -- this one plays Mint Minus throughout. The cover shows some slight ringwear but is still in excellent condition, rating about 8+ out of 10. We picked up this copy because it had stampers that we'd had some success with in the past. It didn't turn out to be one of the big shootout winners but it did go through our extensive cleaning process and still has quite good sound. We guarantee that it sounds substantially better than any heavy vinyl pressing or any pressing that you may own -- or your money back! more info

"... more a concept album about the road than an actual live album, even though its songs were sometimes recorded on-stage (and sometimes on the bus or in the hotel). Unlike most live albums, though, it consisted of previously unrecorded songs ... The songs covered all aspects of touring, from Danny O'Keefe's "The Road," which detailed romantic encounters, and "Rosie" (co-written by Browne and his manager Donald Miller), in which a soundman pays tribute to auto-eroticism, to, well, "Cocaine," to the travails of being a roadie ("The Load-Out")." - AMG 4 1/2 Star Review more info

"His songs were less philosophical, but they were also more personal. In "Of Missing Persons," he once again took on a eulogy as his subject, but unlike "Song to Adam" or "For a Dancer," there the song was directed to his late friend's daughter and encouraged her recovery: it was more a song for the living than for the dead. Newly aware of the world around him ("Boulevard"), he was also newly sensitive to others, notably on the mutual dependency song "Call It a Loan." - AMG Review Newrv04-11-04-FRED112309 more info


				Jackson Browne Hold Out Super Hot Stamper! (Item #: brownholdo_0810_1) Our Price: $99.99 This copy has EXCELLENT SOUND on side two backed with a good side one. Play this side two against your old copy -- I bet this one is dramatically more open and spacious. The transparency and clarity are superb and there's a three-dimensional quality to the soundfield. Most copies we played were too thick, veiled and/or smooth to get excited about, but this one presents the music in a much more enjoyable fashion. more info


				Jackson Browne Late for the Sky (Item #: brownlatef_ar) Our Price: $29.99 This is a very nice looking Asylum LP with Very Little Sign of Play (VLSOP). We ran this copy through one of our shootouts, and while it didn't turn out to be one of the big winners it did go through our extensive cleaning process and still has very good sound. While it certainly can't touch our Hot Stamper copies, it should sound much better than the average pressing you might own -- or your money back! more info


				Jackson Browne Late for the Sky Hot Stamper Side One! (Item #: brownlatef_0810) Our Price: $74.99 This Asylum LP has a great side one, rating between A+ and A++. There's plenty of tubey magic, though it comes at the expense of some clarity. Almost all the copies we played ended up sounding either a bit too clean and clear, or a bit too thick and fat. The clear ones of course are the ones that initially fool you -- they present an illusion of transparency because everything is easy to hear right from the get-go, but they quickly wear out their welcome with their more "modern", leaner sound. The choruses are telling here. With so many background singers, the size and weight and energy of the singers only comes through on the copies that are full and rich -- like this one. more info

(Item #: brownlatef_0610) Our Price: $249.99 This Super Hot Stamper pressing of JB's third album, the one the critics seem to agree is his masterpiece, manages to find just the right balance between clarity and tubey-magical richness. Almost all the copies we played ended up sounding either a bit too clean and clear, or a bit too thick and fat. 				James Taylor In the Pocket Factory Sealed (Item #: taylointhe_ss) Our Price: $24.99 This is an original looking Factory Sealed Warner Brothers cutout LP. This album is an absolute joy. I bought my copy in the ’70s when it came out and played it all the time. I remember Rolling Stone magazine gave it a very negative review, as if Taylor had sold out because he made a pop album. I’m not a snob when it comes to pop music. I love a good pop album. Because it’s popular doesn’t make it bad. more info

				James Taylor James Taylor Super Hot Stamper! (Item #: taylojames_0810) Our Price: $149.99 UNBELIEVABLY GOOD SOUND on side two -- it’s been AGES since we’ve heard a copy that was anywhere close to this wonderful! We played a big stack of nothing but British Original pressings, and this one was the best overall by far. Side one rates above A+, side two rates above A++, and both sides play a solid Mint Minus throughout. There might be a better sounding copy out there somewhere, but we’re certainly not bold enough to expect to find it! more info
