				Airto Fingers Hot Stamper! (Item #: airtofinge_0210_2) Our Price: $74.99 Hot Stampers for BOTH sides of this, THE BEST AIRTO ALBUM ever made. The copy on offer here had a pretty clear and extended top end on both sides, something most do not, so that gave it a leg up on the competition. Not all the energy and bass definition, but enough to let Airto and his crazy compatriots work their magic on these wonderful songs. For seventy five bucks this is a lot of great Latin jazz music, the kind that most audiophile collections are no doubt lacking, so fill in the gap with this one for cheap. 				Airto Free (Item #: airtofree) Our Price: $24.99 This is a Minty looking CTI LP with VERY GOOD SOUND. We put this one through our cleaning process and gave it a spin -- we loved it! Rudy Van Gelder does it again! I hear virtually none of his bad EQ, compressor overload and general unpleasantness. Instead, this recording has smooth, sweet mids; open unexaggerated highs (absolutely crucial for a percussion record like this); and rich, tonally correct bass. In other words, you would never know it’s an RVG recording. If only Fingers sounded like this. more info

The sound here is pretty good, with clear vocals and punchy bass, and the vinyl plays quietly. This pressing also sounds much better than the Super Analogue pressing of the same music. When you get the right original pressing -- London or Decca -- they’re even better, but they sure are hard to find on quiet vinyl. more info

As is often the case with compilations, there is some variation in sound from track to track. 				Ambrosia Ambrosia White Hot Stamper! (Item #: ambroambro_0710) Our Price: $249.99 WHOA NELLY! Here's another INSANELY GOOD pressing of my all-time favorite album, which is every bit as good sonically as it is musically! Side two in particular (A+++, As Good As It Gets!) has DEMO DISC quality sound with the kind of SONIC ENERGY that not one out of a hundred titles can lay claim to. Put this one up against your best Dark Side. Unless you bought a High Dollar DSOTM from us, I'd say there is little chance this album won't decimate it. (We talk about how similiar the recordings are below.) Folks, this LP is nothing short of a sonic spectacle, and it gets our absolute highest recommendation. Satisfaction Guaranteed! more info


				Ambrosia One Eighty Factory Sealed (Item #: ambrooneei_ss) Our Price: $24.99 This is a Factory Sealed Warner Brothers LP with a Promo cut corner. It’s one of my favorite Ambrosia albums, which I’m glad to say usually has excellent sound! This is definitely the more pop side of Ambrosia. (We prefer the proggy first two albums here at Better Records.) Some of their biggest and best Adult Contemporary hits are taken from One Eighty. more info


				Ambrosia Songs From ’Road Island’ Quiex Promo EP (Item #: ambroroadi_) Our Price: $9.99 This is a Minty looking Warner Brothers 4 Track Promo EP pressed on Quiex II vinyl. These are comments about the actual album: I forgot what A GOOD RECORD this is! It really ROCKS! The sound is big and exciting -- if you can play your stereo VERY LOUD the first track should be quite impressive. Of course I have to admit to being the world's biggest Ambrosia fan, so you may want to take my enthusiastic comments with a grain of salt. But be that as it may, this is still a very good album in the Classic Rock tradition, which is not a genre that Ambrosia ever wanted to be in before. Perhaps they thought this would change their commercial fortunes, but that was not to be. more info
