This Sheffield Direct to Disc pressing has EXCELLENT SOUND! The stand-up acoustic bass is amazingly well recorded on this album: it’s so rich and full-bodied. You will have a hard time finding a string bass that sounds better. The top end for side one wasn’t all there however, so we’ve downgraded it slightly to A+.
